This is TN's first year to offer Tabe Burka and we could not be more excited. The coffee is juicy, has rich body and familiar flavors of peach, strawberry pie and honey. Those familiar with guava are likely to taste this flavor as well. Tabe Burka is  dynamic and super satisfying both hot and iced.

Peach, Strawberry Pie, Honey
The coffee is grown by 300 smallholders farms, organized into 5 farmer groups and is processed by Mr Tadesse Edema at the Tabe Burka washing station. Tabe Burka is located in the Uraga woreda (district), in the Guji region of Ethiopia.  Each farmer of the farmer group owns approximately 3 hectares of land and cultivates maize trees, false banana, and fruit trees – besides their coffee crop. Mr Edema pays the farmer groups in advance when harvest begins. This gives the smallholders enough incentive to harvest quality. Water from the Burka river is used to wash the coffee and it is fermented for 24 – 36 hours.
$ 19.00 / 12 oz.
