Filled with deep flavors of peach, honey, and bergamot, this Ethiopian makes for great traditional Chemex-brewed coffee. This coffee stands out among Ethiopians for its rich body. We are the only roaster to carry Bishan Dimo in Seattle.

Farmer Samuel Degelo was born and raised in the coffee community of Bishan Dimo, Guji. Besides farming, he teaches at the Danbi Uddo Primary School. With his academic background and reputation for easily understanding and implementing new agricultural methods in this community with its ancient roots in coffee cultivation, his neighbors have taken to calling him the teacher farmer, Mr. Samuel.

“My goal is to help my neighbor farmers to aim for great coffee as well. Together we can show the entire world that the Bishan Dimo farmers can make the best Ethiopian coffees. I strive to get an income from quality coffee, because I see that prices are far higher than commercial coffees. With this better income, I can improve the lives of my family and relatives”.
